New Camaro going to be on a diet? According to Chief Engineer for the new Camaro, "Doug Houlihan (Chief Engineer) flew in from "down under" for industry days and also Charity Preview -- and a few meetings..... He has a message for the enthusiast community: "Tell them not to be concerned with weight - we've called Jenny Craig!!!"

Podcast #71 - GM Style and Autoshow

The year 2007 has started with a bang! We were able to attend the GM Style Event last week for the world unveiling of the Camaro Convertible Concept. Wow, what an experience! It was Detroit meets Hollywood. Jason and I talk about the whole experience of the event.
Not 24 hours later, we were at the first day of the North American International Auto show in Detroit. Along with the Camaro Convertible Concept, we were able to see the unveiling of the Chevrolet Volt.

It was a great 2006! Almost a year ago to date is when GM unveiled the new Chevrolet Camaro Concept. We remember back a year ago.
The GM Style Event is this coming weekend. The invitation-only event is scheduled for the night before the start of press preview days for the 2007 North American International Auto Show and we'll be there! We'll be sure to get lots of pictures.
